(Contains PR Samples/Gifted Items)

Are you on the look out for some new natural, organic and ethical beauty to try? I have a lovely selection of natural (ie. paraban-free, sulphate free, synthetic fragrance free etc) beauty products including natural skin care, body and hair care and natural makeup for you to try. Settle in, this is a long one!

Natural, Organic Body & Hair Care

First up are the wonderful body care products from Sagitta (gifted). Sagitta is a German company with a long-standing history in preventative care based in probiotic wellbeing. I LOVE their packaging, isn’t it just beautiful? (Above photo). I’m always a big fan of brands that take care in how their products are presented. But these aren’t just beautifully designed the natural body care products actually work. I’ve been using Sagitta prebiotic soap which have been working wonders on my sensitive, dry skin.

It’s packed full of natural organic moisturising ingredients like butyrospermum parkii butter (shea butter) and lactis proteinum, a skin conditioning ingredient. Sagitta also has a shampoo bar (gift) for your hair. This left my hair clean and soft and I love the reduced packaging (essentially some gorgeous paper) very similar to the zero waste Beauty Kubes I’ve got below.

I’ve also been using Sagitta Probiotic Natural Deodorant (gifted). There has been an increase of natural deodorants recently and I was interested to see how effective they are. I have sensitive underarms and lots of regular deodorant stings my skin and leaves a rash so I’m limited in what I can use. Sagitta probiotic deodorant is a thick cream-like formula that feels incredibly soothing on the skin, it contains no scent so if you wear perfume it won’t clash.

This works really well at combatting sweat and smell. I think this has converted me to natural deodorant, my underarms are definitely thanking me! This is aluminium free, organic, unscented and 100% natural. Plus I love the packaging. It’s so beautiful.

Also in the photo above is a beautiful handmade soap dish (gifted). You may see it appearing once or twice in my Instagram feed  in the coming weeks!

I’ve wanted to try the innovative Beauty Kubes for absolutely ages now and I finally bought myself Beauty Kubes Shampoo for Normal to Dry Hair from Plastic Freedom. This plastic free, zero waste shampoo cube does take a bit of getting used to. You crumble one or two in your hand, add a bit of water to make a paste then shampoo your hair. It’s kind of like a gorgeous Oxo cube.

I have a lot of hair so needed to use two but I found that I could go longer in between washes with these. I haven’t tried the conditioner yet but I am planning to buy some with my next order of shampoo. I’m a convert! I love just how much waste is reduced with these little ingenious cubes.

Plus my son *hates* having a shower but he actually loves getting in and using these! You can also get body wash cubes. If you’re looking for a way to reduce waste in your bathroom this is a simple way to do this. I’m impressed! (And so is my son).

Natural Vegan Skin Care

Dr Botanicals have been a brand on my radar for a while so when they contacted me to try a couple of their newest products out I of course said yes. I love a face mask and try to make it part of my weekly routine and ideally twice a week (I have a selection of ethical, natural small batch face masks here for you to try too).

Dr Botanicals Cocoa & Coconut Superfood Reviving Hydrating Mask* is the perfect addition to my routine. Given that it has kaolin in it I’m surprised at just how hydrating this mask is.

It deeply cleanses, purifies and hydrates. Perfect if you’re feeling dehydrating by air con or hot weather. Another new product from Dr Botanicals that provides amazing hydration is their Lemon Superfood All-In-One Rescue Butter*. This is an incredibly rich cream that naturally smells of lemons. It can be used as an intensive moisturiser all over the body, an overnight mask, a brilliant cuticle cream and also treat burns, rashes and sunburn for example. (See my summer skin care tips here).

A great all-rounder that’s amazing for the family too. This is another hit with my son! He loves it on his “ouchy bits” (little grazes).

Natural, Organic Makeup

I have been meaning to blog about Fat and the Moon Lip Paints for absolutely ages! I think these organic natural lip products are one of my favourite formulas I’ve tried. Fat and the Moon Lip Paint is super pigmented, hydrating but also long lasting.

I have two shades Mortar & Pestle which is a gorgeous earthy red, and Clay Idol a muted browny-orange. Fat and the Moon Lip Paints can be lightly applied with your finger to give a lip tint or with a brush to give a more precise fuller impact finish.

I think these are amazing lip products and the fact their ethical just makes them all the better. I also have my eye on Fat and the Moon Beam Highlighter.

And if you’re looking for a natural, organic facial cleanser I have some here including one of the best cleansers I have ever used. I love it so ❤️.
