My Everyday Face : April

beauty blog

In today’s post I’m sharing with you the main products I use on my face daily. The only thing that really changes is my lip colour other than that I more or less reach for the same products in the morning. Some of the products shown are new to me and I’m not entirely sure if I’ll repurchase them. Also, ideally most of these are long-wearing which is a bonus if you don’t have the time for touch-ups throughout the day. So, here they are:

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation I’ve repurchased this several times now and I’ll probably always wear this. Having said that, I am coming close to the end of this bottle and I quite fancy trying Dior Star foundation, have you tried it? I’d love to hear some feedback about it. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is fast drying so I find it best to work quickly with this.

I’ve been trying Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer for the first time and I quite like it. Does a good job of covering up my dark circles and creamy enough not to settle into fine lines, unsure if I’d repurchase this though. I also like BareMinerals Concealer as an under eye concealer. I’ve had this for absolutely ages. You only need a small amount of this full-coverage, creamy concealer. It’s quite similar to Bobbi Brown Corrector. A really nice product, especially for older or drier skins.

To set my base I’ve been trying Rimmel Stay Matte Powder I quite like it but it is quite a heavy powder. Undecided if I’ll repurchase this, although it will last for absolutely ages.

I usually use Illamasqua blushes but I really like H&M’s flower blush recently. It lasts all day and you can change the colour depending on where you swipe your brush (I use Real Techniques Blusher Brush). Unfortunately I can’t find it online now. (Previous review here

I then move onto my eyes. I mainly use Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics palette,  using Skimp or Stark all over my lower eyelid then using Ecotools Flat Eyeliner brush I apply Undone as a liner. This is a really great budget brush. It's not overly hard and makes application easy.

When I have a bit more time or I want a more defined eye I use Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner. This stuff just doesn’t move when applied. A really great, budget eyeliner perfect for cat’s eye flicks. I’m still using Benefit Roller Lash sample. A great mascara that doesn’t smudge and keeps your eyelashes curled all day.

And finally are my lips. I’ve been mainly using Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets in Nu-dist and Grand-Cru , although I really love Revlon Matte Balm in Sultry . My lip colour is definitely the most changeable makeup I wear on my face.

Do you stick to the same makeup daily or are you always changing what you wear?
